Introduction to Sailing
This course is new sailors who want to experience hands-on sailing, have fun as an active participant and give sailing a try without a large investment in time and money.  This 3-hour on-the-water experience takes place on 667 acre Whitmore Lake. We will "show you the ropes" so to speak - but actually, we'll show you a lot more than just the ropes. . Topics of discussion include: terminology, parts of a sailboat, weather and water conditions, basic rigging, and anchoring and Mooring. If you're at the stage of wanting to get out on the water in a 23ft sailboat with cabin, then this course is for you.

IMPORTANT: When booking this class we have set aside three possible evenings and/or mornings for sailing.  Please reserve ALL dates, although only one date will ultimately be chosen.  Once the class date approaches and the weather is reviewed, the date will be chosen based on ideal weather conditions for your experience.
Course Fee: $125  - Supply Fee: $0
