My Philosophy...
 I strive to empower anyone willing to learn a new skill. My goal is to start where each student is and then give them enough information to continue to develop their skills in the direction that is best for them. Empowerment! 

My Story...
 I have been making dolls for about 25 years as a studio 'artisan' and instructor. My background before that was in computers (hardware and software) with no 'art' instruction so I am self taught. I think this gives me an advantage when teaching because I can verify that a student does not need formal art lessons to be creative. 

My love of Italian cooking came from being married to an Italian and learning at the elbow of his family members here and in Italy. Simplicity is the goal
