Art education classrooms are unlike any other. Art engages students on a unique and deeply personal level through a wide variety of media that is inclusive or every culture, context and time period. The therapeutic process of creation makes room for new ideas, personal connections and technical practices that can unify any group of people. While many viewers tend to fixate on the outcome, I believe the art making process is the most essential portion, teaching students to understand, honor, value and teach parts of themselves and the world around them they may have not encountered before.

Hello! My name is Tully Williams, I am a Detroit based artist and educator. I obtained a BFA in 2019 in Art Education from MSU ( go green!) and a LQ endorsement from the state to teach K-12 arts to the youth. I am passionate about gardening, community and learning every type of art I can get my hands on. I hope to see you in one of my classes. Cheers!
